He is working under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh V.J. (Associate Professor, Department of Earth and Space Sciences) on ISRO funded Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM-1) AO project -

This was organized by Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad. She is working under the guidance of Dr. V. J. Rajesh, Associate Professor, Department of Earth and Space Sciences. -

Hearty Congratulations to Dr. Veena V.S., who has received the K. D. Abhayankar Best Thesis Award for the year 2018 by the Astronomical Society of India (ASI) at their 37th meeting in Bangalore. Dr. Veena worked for her Ph.D. in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences from 2013 to 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Sarita Vig. The title of her PhD thesis is “IRDCs to Star Clusters: In-depth study of the Structure, Evolution and Kinematics of few Southern Massive Star Forming regions”. She will soon begin her post-doctoral research at the University of Cologne, Germany as a Humboldt Fellow.
