In terms of University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, Prof. Ciza Thomas, former Vice Chancellor, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram has been appointed as Ombudsperson for the redressal of grievances of students of the Institute. The period of appointment is for three years.

The grievances of students not resolved by the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee will be heard and decided by Ombudsperson.
