IIST campus is alive during the vacation with the presence of internship students from different institutes across India, which create a mix of cultures, languages, expertise, and perspectives. Students from diverse backgrounds interact, exchange ideas, and learn from one another, enhancing the academic environment and adding a lively social dynamic to the IIST campus. Prof. Dipankar Banerjee (Vice Chancellor, IIST) and Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph (Registrar & Dean (Academics)) held a meeting with the internship students. During the session, the authorities emphasized the importance of internship programmes in complementing academic knowledge. The students were also given the opportunity to share their experiences and insights. The Vice Chancellor assured them of the institute's continued support and expressed confidence in their potential to contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.
