Dr Ambily KM, Inspire faculty, Department of Earth and Space Sciences has been selected for the young scientist award from International Radio Science Union (URSI-RCRS).,
The selected paper for the award is "On the origin of the ionosphere at Moon : a study using results from Chandrayaan-I S-Band Radio Occultation Experiment and a photochemical model".
The award will be distributed during 2015 URSI Regional Conference in Radio Science (URSI-RCRS 2015) to be held on November 16, 2015. The conference is organized by the Indian Committee for International Radio Science Union (INC-URSI) under the auspices of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
