Inspection of IIST by the second sub-committee of the Committee of Parliament on Official Language was held on 9th January 2025. IIST has been selected as one of the organizations for inspection by Parliamentary Committee on Official Language along with 25 other Government organizations in Kerala.

Dr. Dipankar Banerjee, Director, IIST, Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph, Registrar, IIST, Prof. Raju K. George, Dean (SA, SW& OR), Smt. Bindya K. R., Deputy Registrar (Grade - II), GAD, SA & SW, Smt. Cimy Asaf, Assistant Director (OL), from IIST and Shri. MG Som Shekharan Nair, Joint Director (OL),Shri. Imtiaz Ali Khan, Director, DSRQ as department representative from DOS attended the inspection.
